Perlin engine reference
- Spatial frequency
- Controls how quickly the Perlin field changes across the cube set. Lower values produce broader, smoother variation; higher values produce more rapid variation between nearby points. Default: 1.75.
- Iteration phase
- Controls the distance travelled through the field for each iteration. Zero holds the distortion still; lower values change it gradually; higher values change it more between frames. Negative values reverse direction. Default: 0.0125.
- Animation rate
- Controls the number of iterations per second. Default: 30.
- Motion speed
- Iteration phase multiplied by animation rate. At the defaults: 0.0125 × 30 = 0.375 Perlin-coordinate units per second.
