Study notes

This is the directional substrate, not yet a flow drawing. Each short mark reports the local angle of a single combined field.

Grid spacing: The distance between samples. Reduce it to increase density.
Regular pattern: The deterministic order: sine weave, radial pulse, or alternating turns.
Field scale: The spatial size of the noise. Low values create broad currents; high values make tighter variation.
Noise turns: The angular range contributed by the coherent-noise field.
Perlin proportion: The balance between the regular pattern and the noise field.
Mark length: The visible vector length; it does not change the field itself.
